Igloo was a client of my own agency, Actual. Client is a bit of an understatement, we were really an extension of their marketing team providing leadership for a young and inexperienced team. When we rebranded Igloo, we recommended they create a deeper connections with the outdoor industry, and they agreed. Igloo had a long history of being a staple in camping and beach culture and it was high time they reengaged.
In order to demonstrate their commitment to culture loud and proud, Igloo decided to show up at the summer Outdoor Retailer tradeshow.
We repurposed the booth we had created for the International Home and Housewares Show to create an experience that resonated with the OR audience and brought Igloo out of the Walmart shadows and back into the outdoor scene.
