Day Tripper Product and Video

As part of our work with Igloo, we helped them to identify new product opportunities and assist in bringing these products to life. The first set of products to come to market was the Day Tripper series - a pair of small wine tote coolers perfect for a picnic in the park, or a day hike to that secret spot.

This was a new type of product for Igloo aimed at the next generation of their consumer. The product team knocked it out of the park and created something beautiful, functional and fun. Everyone who saw the product became an instant fan. It was poised for success, but Igloo had not launched a lifestyle product like this for many many years. At the time their social channels were anemic and the followers they did have were not the right audience for this product. They needed a trusted authentic voice with an established following within the culutre of the consumer to properly introduce the Day Tripper.

Let’s be Social

Under our guidance, Igloo partnered up with Food Steez, a “foodie” social media content creator with close to million followers who tune in daily to consume their mouth watering recipe and “signature dish” videos. We worked with Food Steez to develop a piece of content that could introduce the Day Tripper to their audience while staying true to their style. The resulting video produced 12X the impressions and 7X the views of a typical Igloo post. The product went on to perform quite well and is a top seller on their own website, a telltale sign that a younger consumer is purchasing the product as hoped.
